In her senior season, Thoren helped Farson-Eden to a 12-10 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the Class 1A Southwest Quadrant. The Pronghorns made the Class 1A state tournament and won the consolation championship.
Ighlee averaged team-highs of 12.3 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.9 steals per game during the 2020-21 season. She added 3.9 rebounds per game and shot 35 percent from the field and 28 percent beyond the arc. Her six made 3-point field goals against Cokeville on Feb. 19, 2021, were the most in a single game by a player in Class 1A last season.
Thoren scored a season-high 23 points in Farson-Eden’s consolation championship game victory over Burlington, 45-38, on March 4, 2021.
Her career-high in points came during her sophomore season. Thoren scored 27 points against Burlington in a game on Feb. 21, 2019.
Ighlee was also played volleyball at Farson-Eden High School and was a four-year letter winner.
The Western Wyoming Community College went 4-16 last season. Thoren joins two former WyoPreps on the Mustangs roster. Mike Swenson is the head coach at WWCC for women’s basketball.
