
Farson Volleyball Coach Patty Mitchelson Steps Down After 32 Years
For the first time in over 30 years, Farson-Eden will have a new volleyball coach as Patty Mitchelson is stepping aside.
She started coaching Pronghorn volleyball back in 1988 and her program last qualified for the 1A state tournament in 2016, when they took 4th. Farson made six straight appearances in the state tournament from 2005-10. Mitchelson was named the conference coach of the year twice.
The new volleyball coach for Farson-Eden will be Tiffany Mines, who is a former Pronghorn player and an all-state performer in three sports during her prep career. Mines played junior college basketball at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO. She was the Farson middle school coach in volleyball and an assistant with the middle school boys' basketball team.
