Last Friday night, the outcome was not what Wyoming wanted in their annual 6-man all-star football game against Nebraska. The boys from the Cornhusker State won 42-14. They scored on their first three possessions and built a 22-0 lead that proved too much to overcome for Wyoming. After the game, WyoPreps spoke with running back-linebacker Wyatt Trembly from Dubois, quarterback Jordan Michaels of Burlington, and Encampment receiver-lineman Kaben Pickett after the game.

All three players discussed the experience, some plays they made in the game, how tough Nebraska was, and more.

Michaels had two TD passes but was also intercepted twice. Trembly was one of the team leaders on both sides of the ball, and Pickett made his presence felt with a key kick-off return that set up Wyoming’s first touchdown. That was a pass he caught from Michaels.

Wyoming trails for the first time in the series, 6-7, after last Friday’s loss in Chadron, NE.
