Prep football teams in Wyoming finished the fourth week of the 2024 season last weekend. Teams have played between three and five games, depending on their schedule and other circumstances. We have seen terrific performances on the gridiron and want to highlight them. These are the Peak Performers across five statistical categories. We added team totals in a few areas, plus the top-scoring games by teams.

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TOP SINGLE-GAME PERFORMANCES IN 2024

Last week’s top performers included Waylon Milnes from Wheatland, who had 219 yards rushing against Glenrock. Worland QB Colt Weber was last week’s top passer. He was 25-34 for 305 yards with 4 TDs and zero interceptions. The top receiver in Week 4 was Zayne Huber of Buffalo. He caught 8 passes for 154 yards and 2 TDs. Mountain View QB Justus Platts had a great effort with 341 all-purpose yards versus Kemmerer. He was responsible for 7 TDs (3 rushing, 4 passing). Max Gregory of Lyman had the most defensive points last week with 34 against Worland.

Team-wise, Lingle-Ft. Laramie ran for 452 yards in their win over Wright. Worland has the most passing yards at 305 in their win versus Lyman. The Cody Broncs rolled up 613 all-purpose yards in a victory over rival Powell. Encampment’s 82 points scored against Casper Christian was the most by one team in Week 4.
