The two coaching staffs for the two teams in the 51st annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl all-star football game have been selected. North Team head coach Rob Hammond and South Team head coach Russell Stienmetz have picked their assistant coaches for the 2024 edition of the game. Wyoming Shrine Bowl Executive Director Frank Selby released the two coaching staffs via a release to the media on Friday.

Hammond has added Henry Glacking and Ross Walker from his staff at Buffalo High School as assistant coaches. Also chosen were David Trembly from Dubois, Nicc Crosby of Lovell, Wind River’s Rod Frederick, and Trent Pikula from Thunder Basin. The trainer for the North Team will be Tanner Gillette from Buffalo High School.

Stienmetz started by picking Robb Nicolay and Ryan Workman from his staff at Torrington High School. Other assistants on the South Team will be Scott Hayes from Cheyenne East, Green River’s Blaine Christensen, Brandon Gifford of Lingle-Ft. Laramie, and Encampment’s Hart Jordan. The trainer for the South Team will be Torrington High School’s Emily Yorges.

The player rosters for both teams will be revealed very soon.

The 51st annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl is on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Natrona County High School in Casper.

The South won the 50th edition of the Wyoming Shrine Bowl, 27-24, over the North last June in Casper at Harry Geldien Stadium.

The North team leads the all-time series 26-20-3.
