
Anthony Henson from Douglas Signs for Football at Chadron State
Douglas senior Anthony Henson will continue to play football at the collegiate level after committing to Chadron State. The offensive lineman was named to the 3A East all-conference team in 2024. He helped Douglas to a conference championship, as the Bearcats went 5-0 in league action last fall. Douglas reached the semifinals in the 3A football playoffs and finished the season 2024 at 7-3.
Henson helped the Douglas offense average 314 yards per game, which ranked third in Class 3A. The Bearcats ran for 161 yards per game and threw for 153 yards per contest. Douglas averaged 23.5 points per game. He added three tackles, including one solo stop on defense or special teams.
The senior got selected for the 2025 Wyoming Shrine Bowl South Team roster this summer. He will join teammates Carter Archuleta and Cash Tillard in the game on June 14.
Henson also played basketball and soccer at DHS.

Chadron State College is in Chadron, NE. The Eagles are members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and compete at the NCAA Division II level.
