Green River’s Tynsky and Douglas’ Oria Take Center Stage as WyoPreps Athletes of the Week [VIDEO]
Standouts on the volleyball court and football field were selected as the WyoPreps Athlete of the Week award winners. Our latest recipients were Green River sophomore Natalie Tynsky and Douglas junior Milo Oria. Tynsky helped the Wolves to a perfect week on the volleyball court, which included an upset of a top-ranked team. Oria excelled on the gridiron with career highs and led the Bearcats to a conference victory. WyoPreps reviewed performances from the competition week of October 13 through October 18, 2025, and selected these two student-athletes. Previous weeks are not part of the decision.
One note about last week. We did not have winners due to my personal schedule, as I was out of the state for several days.

Natalie has a serve receive rating of 2.6 for the three matches and finished with three errors. Her top marks came in the four-set upset of the Trojans, where she recorded a double-double of 15 kills and 10 digs. The Wolves improved to 20-4 on the season and 4-1 in the conference. They tied for first in their league standings.
WyoPreps visited with the sophomore about her play last week, the key to Green River’s success, particularly in the victory over Kelly Walsh, what she did well to help the squad, what she loves about volleyball, and more.
