Former Kelly Walsh state champion wrestler Caleb Nathan has committed to Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs.

In a post on social media last Saturday, Nathan made his decision public. He was a three-time All-State performer in his career at KWHS.

Caleb Nathan went 153-35 in his career with the Trojans. He served a mission in Mexico over the last two years.

At the 2018 4A State Wrestling Championships, as a senior, Nathan lost a heart-breaker by sudden victory, 4-2, to Ashton Dupape of Rock Springs. His final record that season was 45-10. Nathan was also runner-up at 120-pounds as a junior.

The one title Caleb Nathan claimed was during his sophomore season, in 2016, at 113 pounds. That was a 3-2 decision over Keanan Pfisterer of Riverton. As a freshman, Nathan took third at 106 pounds.

The Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) Mustangs took sixth at the 2020 NJCAA National Championships with seven All-Americans and one National Champ. They finished their dual season with a 10-1 overall record.
