Gage Gose of Lander Continues Terrific Track Season

Lander's Gage Gose has made a name for himself on the track and field circuit with superlative performances in the hurdle events. He is the defending 3A State Champion in the 110 and 300 hurdles and won the 110 at the Wyoming Track Classic on Friday in Casper in 14.46. Earlier this season, he took 1st place in the 300 hurdles at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California with a time of 37.29. He's run 37.03 in the 300 this year and that is tops in the state so far in 2023. Gose also ran the 110 hurdles at the Arcadia meet in 14.31 which is the best time for a Wyoming high schooler this season in that event.

Even more remarkable is that Gose set the meet and school record in the 400 meters at the Wyoming Track Classic in 48.27. Gose didn't even race in the 400 at last year's 3A State Championship but his 4x400 and 1600 medley relay teams won state titles.
