Gillette’s Christensen Defends Her Two Titles at State Swimming

It was a carbon copy at the state swimming championships for Campbell County sophomore standout Berkeley Christensen.

For the second straight year, Christensen won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly races at the Class 4A Girls Swimming and Diving State Championships. She won by nearly three seconds in the freestyle race and by almost two in the butterfly event.

In the video above, WyoPreps spoke with Christensen about her performance. The sophomore discussed winning two titles again, her races, and the team’s finish.

Christensen has two more years to complete and may well be on her way to eight top honors individually.
