Thunder Basin graduate Logan Brown will continue to play softball in college after recently signing with Bismarck State College in North Dakota.

Brown helped the Bolts win the Wyoming High School Softball state championship last month. In the title game against Cheyenne Central, Brown had two hits, including a home run and three RBIs. She was a two-year starter at TBHS.

During her senior season this spring, Brown hit .364 with 32 total base hits. She finished with ten double and three home runs. Brown drove in 26 runs, scored 23 runs, and was an honorable mention all-conference selection by the coaches.

Logan plays the summer travel season with Wicked 307 Fastpitch in Gillette. In the 2021 summer season, she had a .327 batting average in 67 at-bats. Brown had 22 hits, which included three doubles. She finished with 10 RBIs.

Over the last five years with Wicked 307, Brown has a batting average of .375. She has amassed 165 hits, which includes 28 doubles, four triples, and 12 home runs. Brown has 115 RBIs and has also drawn 40 walks.

The Bismarck State College Mystics compete at the NJCAA level. They are part of the Mon-Dak Conference.
