Gillette’s Shay Hough Qualifies for NHSFR in Two Events

Shay Hough is tough to beat anywhere along the Wyoming High School Rodeo Association road and at home with her 19-year-old firecracker of a horse, the Gillette senior is a force of nature. Hough is headed to the nationals as the top qualifier in both barrel racing and pole bending. The state high school finals concluded on a shivery note in Gillette on Saturday but worked out well for Shay and Tex. The National High School Finals Rodeo will be in Rock Springs July 14-20.
