The Glenrock Herders enjoyed one of their best seasons in the last 4 decades with a record of 21-8 and a berth in the 2A State Tournament. The Herders had a couple of all-state selections in Tucker Bopp and Jaren Fritz who averaged 13 and 17 points a game respectively. Kale Kuhlman was a double digit scorer as well averaging 10 points a game. Glenrock came into the state tournament with high hopes but had one of their worst efforts of the season in their opening round loss to Rocky Mountain 61-46. The Herders shot just 27% from the field, making just 6-30 3 point shots. Bopp had 17 and Kulhman had 10. Glenrock played a whole lot better in the consolation round as they pounded Kemmerer 72-49. They shot 40% from the field and were led in scoring by Bopp and Fritz with 22 each. The Herders ended up taking 6th at state following a 52-48 loss to Wright. It was another tough shooting day for a gifted offensive team, going 31% from the field. Bopp concluded his prep basketball career with 15 points and will go down as one of the finest all-around athletes in the history of the school. Bopp, Fritz, and Kuhlman were all seniors so there will be a significant rebuild for next season
