Just a few weeks remain for the spring prep golf season in the Cowboy State. Welcome to Week 5. After the weather canceled an event to start the week, Riverton, Cody, Lusk, Torrington, and Upton have the golf tournaments on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. A couple of tournaments have a cap on the number of teams and participants. Hopefully, golfers are starting to find a groove, thanks to some warmer weather.

Devil’s Tower Spring Invite at The Golf Club at Devil’s Tower – canceled.

May 1, 2025

Cheyenne South Spring 18-hole Invite at Little America G.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Laramie.

Central swept the medalist honors and team titles.

Riverton Spring Invite at Riverton C.C. – Evanston, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Kemmerer, Lander, Laramie, Lyman, Natrona County, Pinedale, Riverton, Rock Springs, Wheatland.

Wheatland's Haylee Nelson (86) and Isaac Schmidt (69) of Kelly Walsh were the medalists. KW swept the team crowns.

May 2, 2025

Cody Spring Invite at Olive Glenn G.C. – Arapahoe Charter, Buffalo, Cody, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Sheridan, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Worland.

Shelbi Gardner of Sheridan was the girls' medalist and won by 6 shots. Hayden Overfield of Thermopolis and Jermaine Broussard of Worland tied for first in the boys' division at 75. The Sheridan girls and Lander boys took the team titles.

Tiger Spring Invite at Niobrara C.C. – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

Avery Marchant of Sundance won the girls' division by one shot. Upton's Jackson Evans was the boys' medalist by 8 shots. The Sundance girls and Wright boys finished first.

Torrington Spring Invite at Cottonwood C.C. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Rawlins, Thunder Basin, Torrington, Wheatland.

Maddie Bruce of Douglas and Haylee Nelson of Wheatland tied for first place. Central won the girls' division. Jaxon Burr of Campbell County was the boys' medalist by one shot and led the Camels to the team championship.

May 3, 2025

Upton Spring Invite at Cedar Pines G.C. – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Upton.

Sundance's Savanah Peterson won the girls' medalist honor by 11 strokes. Guernsey's Isaac CdeBaca took the boys' title by 2 shots. The Sundance girls and Wright boys won for the second straight day.
