Hunter Kihn of Lander put together a solid season on the golf course as his team took 2nd place at the 3A State Tournament. Individually, Kihn placed 4th at State, shooting an 89 in the first round and came back with a blistering 70 in the 2nd round. That 70 score was the 2nd lowest in the 2nd round of play. In the spring season. Kihn won the Thermopolis event with a 70. That big step forward in his senior season earned him an opportunity to play at the next level, as he will be attending Central Wyoming College in Riverton.

Kihn has displayed incredible improvement in his prep career as he took 34th place at the 2023 3A State Tournament, carding rounds of 90-87, and 20th at the 2022 3A State Tournament, shooting 90-86.

He also has extensive baseball experience at the American Legion level, playing with the Riverton Rangers in 2024 and the Lander Legends in 2023.
