Jymie Adamson of Buffalo will be heading south to further her rodeo career at Weatherford Junior College in Texas. Adamson was 6th in the Wyoming State standings in the breakaway roping, 16th in the pole bending, and 17th in the barrel racing.

In the breakaway event, Adamson had 2 first-place finishes during the regular season, winning the 1st performance in Jackson and the 1st perf in Big Piney. She took 3rd in the 2nd session in Laramie with 3 other 4th place efforts.

Over in the barrel racing, Adamson took 4th in the 2nd Laramie performance and, 7th in the 2nd perf in Gillette and the 2nd perf in the Wheatland. She took 1st in the pole bending in the 1st session in Jackson and the 2nd session in Casper.

The Weatherford women's rodeo team placed 13th at the College National Finals in June at the Ford Center in Casper.
