Sheridan was the #2 seed in the 4a playoffs and earned a home playoff game with Casper Kelly Walsh in the quarterfinal round. Sheridan won the regular-season meeting and took the game over right from the git-go in the first quarter with a couple of touchdowns from Garrett Coon, a 6-yard run and a 5-yard run. Sandwiched in between that was 57-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Boint to Kyle Meinecke so after the first stanza, the Broncs led 21-0

The 2nd quarter was equally productive on offense for Sheridan as Coon scored for the 3rd time, Boint ran it in from 14 yards out for a touchdown and Isik Aksamit had had 16 yard run for a score. Kelly Walsh did score in that 2nd quarter thanks to a 95-yard kick off return for a touchdown from Cameron Burkett but the Trojans were down 42-7 at the halftime intermission.

Garrett Coon continued his brilliant evening with 2 more touchdowns in the 3rd quarter and rang up 162 yards on the ground.  In the 4th quarter, KW found the end zone as quarterback Trenton Walker hooked up with Caleb Cockrum for 6 yards and a TD. Sheridan answered with a 90-yard kick off return for a touchdown from Carter McComb. The Broncs win it big over the Trojans 62-14. Sheridan is now 9-1 and will host Cheyenne Central in the 4a semi-finals. Kelly Walsh’s season comes to an end at 2-8.
