Star Valley's Kenna Merritt has been a three-sport athlete for the Braves in her prep career and has decided to play soccer at the next level at Central Wyoming College in Riverton. She can forward, mid and defensive positions so Merritt will bring a lot of versatlity to the Rustler program.

Merritt is also an accomplished wrestler and in her senior season at 105 pounds, she went 26-16 and placed 5th at the State Tournament with 2 pins along the way. She also picked up a couple of wins at the big Ron Thon Tournament in Riverton. In her junior season on the mat, she took 6th at the State Tournament at 105 with a record of 21-9 and had a great run at the Ron Thon Tournament taking 2nd place. As a sophomore, Merritt placed 4th at the Ron Thon at 105 and was 1-2 at the State Tourney with a season mark of 21-12.

She also has run cross country for SV and was 58th at the 4A State Meet in 2024 in 22.31.61 and 65th at the 2023 State Meet in 23.28.68. Central Wyoming is a junior college institution that competes in Region IX
