In her sophomore and junior seasons of 2020 and 2021, Solem helped Thunder Basin take third place at the 4A volleyball state tournament both years. The Bolts were 25-12 in 2021 and 19-6 in 2020. Gillette College is starting its volleyball program in the fall of 2023. Solem is part of the Pronghorns’ inaugural recruiting class. Kinley will play for Julia Machin, the first coach for Gillette College women’s volleyball.
