Teamwork can pay off, even if no one wins!

The Lander boys swimming team won their 16th straight boys swimming state title...but this one came without a single state champ for the Tiger swim program.

Instead they got runner up in 5 different events, but that was enough to take them over the top.

In 4A, Gillette won 8 of 12 events and set several new state records on their way to another 4A title.   The Camels scored 250 to Central's  209.    There were four new records set.  Two of them were ones that were broken in the prelims on Friday, then broken again on Saturday in the finals.    Gillette won their first boys title since 2008.
