#2 Gillette at #1 Laramie...first half...Gillette wearing the black...Alex German is on the run...he's going to take the tough angle shot and gets an assist from the far goal post...that does not happen very often, but the senior pulled it off and he showed why he's one of the leading 4A scorers...Camels lead 1-to-nothing.

Laramie would get a little creative with their plan of attack...Eric Gunderson with the flip-throw in...he got the ball to where he wanted it to go, but goalie Andrew Hays was where he wanted to be. It would not have counted anyway...Gunderson stepped in bounds on the throw in, before he let go of the ball...but it was still fun to watch...the score would stay at 1-nil, going into halftime.

Second half...both teams now going in the other direction...Lucas Thorsness has his shot blocked by a defender...he'll get it back...pass to Cormac Martinez del Rio who is open behind the defender and #8 will bounce a shot off of Hays and it's in for a much needed goal...and with about 15 minutes remaining, the Plainsmen have tied the game at 1.

About 1 minute to go...the home team is trying to end this...look for the little guy in the back...that's Alexis Eleuterio...the defense forgot about him...and then tried to slow him down, but the freshman was not going to be denied his moment of glory. That would enable the defending 4A state champs. to get their 2nd last minute win, in as many games...and stay undefeated...final score...2-to-1.
