Lily Harris of Green River made some history at the Girls State Wrestling Tournament in 2025 by winning the 130-pound division. She became the first girls' State Champion in the history of the school and went 19-0 for the season. Harris will continue her career on the mat at Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction.

Harris was dominating at 130 at the 2025 State Tournament with 2 pins and 2 technical falls. She defeated Karly Sabey of Lyman 15-0 to take the top of the podium and also was the Ron Thon Tournament champion with a 17-1 victory over Carlee Roth of Thunder Basin in the title match. Needless to say, she had a tremendous season.

In her junior year, Harris took 2nd place at the State Tournament at 125 pounds with a loss to Rivers Carrell of Worland. Harris did record 3 falls en route to the title match and finished the year with a record of 26-5. As a sophomore, she placed 6th at the State Tournament at 125 pounds and took 4th at the Ron Thon in 2023. She wrapped up that season with a mark of 19-6.

Colorado Mesa is a Division II institution that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
