Little Snake River Runs By Casper Christian in 1A 6-Man Football

Little Snake River has been a powerhouse in 1A 6-Man football for quite some time with 3 State Championships in 5 years and a 2nd place finish in 2023. The Rattlers have lost just one game since the start of the 2021 campaign and this group has the #1 offense and #1 defense in 6-Man so far this year.

LSR was sharp on both sides of the ball on Saturday with a 59-6 win over Casper Christian, The Rattlers game the Mountaineers a steady diet of Bridger Cozzens who went around the through the CC defense. He entered the game on Saturday with 21 touchdowns and 958 yards rushing. He already has a 312-yard rushing game vs. Dubois and ran for 241 vs. HEM.

LSR also unleashed Granit Ready and he made some big plays on offense too. Plus the Rattler defense was stout and that's not easy to do in 6-Man football. LSR had a 40-point lead at halftime and cruised on from there.

Little Snake River is 6-0 and has a big game this week taking on 6-0 Encampment. The winner of that game will be the #1 seed from the South in the 6-Man playoffs and the loser will be the #2 seed. Casper Christian is 1-4 on the year and has been eliminated from playoff contention. The Mountaineers will wrap up the regular season this week at Dubois.
