Rosendo Garcia of Lovell earned the 100th win of his prep wrestling career at last weekend’s Battle in the Big Horns Wrestling Tournament. Garcia went 5-0 at the tournament in Worland last weekend with two more wins by forfeit at 285 pounds. He pinned four opponents and earned a 3-1 decision in another match. Garcia received the 'Best of the Best' award for the heavier weights at Worland.

The senior is off to a terrific start, as he also won the Powell Invitational in Week 1 of the 2024 season.

Garcia was runner-up to teammate Zane Collins in the 220-pound division at the 2A state wrestling championships last season. He finished the 2023 season with a 33-8 overall record, according to trackwrestling.com.

Congratulations, Rosendo on reaching the 100-win milestone on the mat!
