Luke Talich of Cody Brings Home 3 Gold's from State Track

The athletic excellence displayed by Cody's Luke Talich has been well documented and put a cap on his prep career with 3 individual titles at the State Track and Field Meet back in May. Talich is an all-state football and basketball player and once again showed what kind of athlete he is with a win in the 4A 100 meters in 10.74. He followed that up with a win in the 200 at 22.10 and also placed first in the 4A long jump with a leap of 22-11. The Broncs ended up 3rd as a team in 4A behind Natrona and Cheyenne Central.

Talich took the next step forward in track after finishing 2nd in the 100, 200 and the long jump at last year's state meet. The young man has some serious skills and will be headed to Notre Dame a preferred walk-on in football.
