The Lyman Eagles put together a solid effort on both sides of the ball on Thursday afternoon with a 45-6 home win over the Kemmerer Rangers. The Eagles are 4-2 overall and have won 3 out of 4 with that lone loss in that time period to the #1 ranked team in 2A, Lovell 12-6.

Lyman's defense was great last season en route to the 2A state championship and continues to be formidable. The Eagles have The #1 ranked defense in 2A which is not easy to do. Max and Sam Gregory are the teams leading tacklers and a host of players average at least 6 tackles per game. On offense, Lyman is getting a very productive year out of Carter Bradshaw so this team can really grind its opponents. Next up for the Eagles will be a home game against Thermopolis.

Kemmerer is 1-4 on the year with their lone win over Thermopolis and has scored just 18 points over the course of the last 3 games. The Rangers will have a home contest this week vs. Pinedale.
