Lyman completed an undefeated season with an 8-6 win over Lovell in the 2A championship on Saturday in Laramie. The Eagle defense did a great job in the game and the Eagle offense did just enough. It was a battle of two teams with great size that turned into a 15 round heavyweight fight.

Lyman beat Lovell during the regular season so these foes knew all about each other. The game was decided on six plays or less start to finish but the Eagles prevailed to win state for the 2nd straight year.

We talked with Lyman players, Rho Mecham as well as Ashton Houskeeper (and coach Dale Anderson too) about that hard-hitting affair.
