Lyman Wins Bridger Valley Bowl, Clinches a #1 seed in 2A
Lyman won the 2A state title last year and is poised for another state championship run after a 40-7 win over rival Mountain View to get to 9-0 on the year. The Eagles had a huge 1st quarter with a 34 yard run for a touchdown from Ashton Housekeeper, followed by a fumble recovery for a score from Morgan Hatch, which was followed by a safety and then a 53 yard run to the house from Chevy Fackrell. Later in the game, Housekeeper and Fackrell had 2nd half touchdowns with Mountain View's only Td coming from a pass from Wyatt Rees to Carson Erdley.
Lyman earned the #1 seed in the 2A West and will host Big Horn on Friday afternoon in the quarterfinal round. It was a tough year for Mountain View who finished 1-7 overall. We have a few great photos from Eric Quinney from that Bridger Valley Bowl in our gallery. Enjoy!
