Green River’s Madison Yoak signed on Tuesday to play softball at Glenville State University in West Virginia.

Yoak was an All-State selection in 2022 and a two-time all-conference pick for the Wolves.

As a senior in the 2022 season, she had a batting average of .421 with 19 RBIs. Yoak hit six home runs, had five triples, and nine doubles. Her fielding percentage was .988. Yoak helped Green River reach the 2022 Wyoming High School Softball state championship tournament for the first time.

Yoak helped Green River to an overall record of 9-17 last year. The Wolves were 5-5 in the West Conference. Green River lost to Campbell County and Kelly Walsh at the state tournament.

Glenville State University is in Glenville, WV. The Pioneers compete at the NCAA Division II level and are in the Mountain East Conference (MEC).

After graduating last spring, Yoak decided to pursue playing at the next level and will join the Pioneers this fall.
