Meeteetse Volleyball Wrap 2019 [VIDEO]

For the first time in 9 years, Meeteetse qualified for the state 1A volleyball tournament and really enjoyed a nice tournament with a 3rd place finish. This Longhorn team started out state tournament play with a 3-1 loss to Upton but rang up 3 straight wins after that. Meeteetse defeated Hanna and Little Snake River in elimination matches and redeemed themselves with a 3-1 win over Upton in the 3rd/4th place match. Junior Samantha May was an all-state selection while teammates Amanda Cooley, Bryce Salzman, Abigale May earned all-conference distinction. Those 3 were seniors so there is some re-tooling to be done. But there will be significant talent returning
