PhotoFest: Little Snake River Starts 6-Man Season Superbly
Little Snake River is the two-time defending state champions in 1A 6-Man football and they're loaded again for the 2023 campaign.
The Rattlers trounced Meeteetse to begin the season 78-28 recording ten rushing touchdowns. Bridger Cozzens had 220 yards rushing on 13 carries with 4 touchdowns, while Seth Maxon carried the ball 18 times for 157 yards and 3 touchdowns. All told LSR had 449 yards rushing for the game. Cozzens added 7 assisted tackles on defense and Maxon had 6.
Meeteetse is going to be a young group this season, and they have been a perennial participant in the playoffs. They have a dynamic player in Joseph Pina, who is a two-time all-state selection.
Little Snake River is ranked #1 in our WyoPreps poll in 6-Man and will host #2 Dubois on Saturday.
Meeteetse will be on the road at Kaycee on Friday.
