Mountain View Volleyball Post Match Remarks

Mountain View has been a 3A volleyball powerhouse with 3 state titles in the last 4 years. The Buffaloes beat Powell in 4 sets on Saturday, 25-20, 17-25, 25-15, and 25-20 to repeat as the 3A champs.

Mountain View had a returning all-state player in Kate Walker and a returning all-conference performer in Mylie Micheli. Both of those girls played big roles in this championship run but in many respects, it was a true team effort.

The Buffs went 32-7 and avenged a loss to Powell in the 3A West Regional final. We had a chance to chat with Mylie Micheli and Kate Walker and it's not easy to win championships. Hard work always helps!
