Mountain View senior Kamri Hutchings will continue her volleyball career at Northwest College in Powell next fall.

The Buffalos’ setter is a two-time all-state and three-time all-conference selection in volleyball.

She helped Mountain View to the Class 3A state championship in 2020 and a runner-up finish in 2021.

In her senior season, Hutchings led the Buffalos to a 33-4 overall record and the 3A West Regional title. Mountain View also won tournaments at Cokeville, Rawlins, and the Border Wars in Evanston.

She had 1,064 assists this fall and a 90 percent serving average. Hutchings also had 55 aces, a .308 hitting percentage, 149 kills, 64 blocks, and 232 digs.

In her career at MVHS, Hutchings finished with 3,051 assists, 618 digs, 138 blocks, and 137 service aces.

Kamri is the second player off the Buffalos roster to sign for volleyball at the next level. She joins teammate Kaycee Bugas, who is moving onto Dixie State University.

Northwest College is in Powell, WY. The Trappers were 24-7 in the 2021 season, which included an 8-3 record in conference matches. Scott Keister is the Northwest College women's volleyball head coach.
