Natrona Football Postgame Remarks

Natrona is 3-1 in 4A football so far this season and has bounced back with two wins after a big loss to Cheyenne East. The Mustangs took care of cross-town rival Kelly Walsh in the Oil Bowl on Friday 37-0 thanks to a sparkling defensive effort. That defensive unit produced a safety and a fumble return for a touchdown.

The NC offense had their struggles at times but did get 130 yards rushing and three touchdowns from Will Cantrell. Rivalry games are emotional and sometimes have a life of their own but Natrona buckled down on defense from beginning to end.

We talked with Natrona players Noah Sides and Will Cantrell about that win on Friday in front of a full house at NC.
