Nicole Clark of Natrona to Attend Black Hills State for Track

Natrona County High School distance runner Nicole Clark will continue her athletic career at Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota. She'll run cross country and track with the Yellowjackets so Clark will be busy.

At the 2024 State Cross Country meet in Cheyenne, Clark placed 11th in the 4A Girls race with a time of 20.08.3. She ran 19.52.9 in her junior season at the 2023 State Meet which was good enough for 7th in 4A Girls. She was also 7th at State in her sophomore year with a clocking of 19.46.29

Clark has been a solid performer for the Natrona track team as she took 6th in the 4A 1600 meters at the 2024 State Meet and her Filly team took 2nd in the 4x800 relay. At the 2023 State Track Meet, she placed 8th in the 3200 and 11th in the 1600 meters. Her 4x800 relay squad took 4th. Way back at the 2022 State Track Meet, Clark took 10th in the 4A Girls 1600 meters and 11th in the 2-mile.

Black Hills State is a Division II program that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
