The 2021 Wyoming High School Girls Swimming & Diving State Championships return to Gillette for the first time in two years.

The last championships held there were pre-COVID, in November 2019.

Laramie was scheduled to host the 2020 boys’ state championships and the girls’ meet last fall, but due to COVID, the boys’ state swim meet in 2021 was moved to Laramie.

The Campbell County Aquatics Center will host Class 3A on Thursday and Friday, while the Class 4A teams will compete on Friday and Saturday.

WyoPreps chatted with C.C.A.C. Director Phil Rehard about the championships returning to the Razor City, anything fans need to be aware of, and a little bit of a preview of both classifications.

Green River and Laramie are the defending team champions.

The cost of attendance is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.
