After a season-opening loss to Cheyenne East, Campbell County has reeled off 3 wins in a row in the 4A football ranks as they dominated Cheyenne South on Friday night 65-9. The Camels scored early and often with a trio of touchdowns in the first quarter. Garrett Herther had a 6-yard run for a score, quarterback Masin Drube ran it in from 11 yards out, and also had a 1-yard plunge for a TD. In between that, Cheyenne South got on the board thanks to a 73-yard touchdown connection from Dylan Willmarth to Gabe Hernandez.

Campbell County poured it on in the 2nd quarter as Tren Rosenau scored from the 9-yard line and Drube threw a pair of touchdown passes; one to Michael Biggs that covered 6 yards and another to Amaurion Hopson that went for a dozen yards. Drube ended up with 4 touchdown passes on the night and the Camels also had a defensive touchdown in the 2nd half.

Campbell County is 3-1 and will be in Casper on Friday night. Cheyenne South is 0-4 and will host Natrona, also on Friday. Take a look at some great photos from this Camel-Bison game courtesy of Kellie Jo Allison. They're in the gallery below. Enjoy!
