Photofest: Cody Rolls Green River to Remain Unbeaten in 3A

Cody has been on a mission this season after finishing runner-up to Star Valley in 3A football in 2022. The Broncs have turned in 6 great performances so far this season and the latest was a 62-7 road win over Green River on Friday to get to 6-0.

Cody went wild in the 1st quarter with an astounding 6 touchdowns. Grady McCarten had 3 of them, from 25, 5, and 22 yards out. Chase Hatch caught a pair of TD balls from Maddax Ball and Dillion Brost had a 15-yard run to the end zone.

McCarten added a 2nd quarter touchdown, Ball threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Logan Class and Ben Hogan reeled off a 77-yard run to the end zone. Cody led 62-0 at halftime. Green River scored their only touchdown in the 4th quarter as Max Hintz found Axel McKinnon for 41 yards. The Wolves are 1-5 on the year and will visit Jackson this week.

Cody had a marquee game on Friday against Star Valley. These teams are ranked 1-2 in our WyoPreps poll and Star Valley beat Cody in the 3A championship back in November. It should be quite a game.
