Photofest: Greybull Edges Moorcroft in 1A 9-Man Football

Greybull and Moorcroft opened the 1A 9-Man season on Friday and both of these programs are looking for significant improvement from a year ago. This was a tightly contested game and Greybull found the end zone twice as Lucas Bolzer ran it in from the 1. The two-point try was good and the Buffs led 8-0

Moorcroft had a 12-8 lead in the game but Greybull scored again in the 2nd half on a 10-yard pass from Caden Hunt to Jesus Rodriquez. Bolzer had a big interception in the 2nd half as the Buffs held on to defeat Moorcroft 16-14.

Last season, Greybull was 3-5 and have made the playoffs once in the last 4 years. They will be at home this week vs. Shoshoni. Moorcroft has played down a class for the last 3 seasons and was ineligible for the playoffs. The Wolves' last playoff appearance was in 2008 which was also they're last winning season. Moorcroft will be at Saratoga on Thursday.
