Not every football team has enjoyable seasons in terms of wins and losses. Yet despite the disappointments, the athletes play hard until the season comes to an end. In 1A 6-Man football, HEM wrapped up the 2023 campaign with a 56-22 road win over Ten Sleep. The Miners were 2-6 overall and 0-5 in conference, which means that they'll miss the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. However, quarterback Noah Scott led 6-Man in passing yards per game at 125. Three times this year he has thrown for over 200 yards. On defense, the Miners were paced by Samuel Rameriz and Naythen Atencio who combined for 165 tackles.

Ten Sleep has been hampered by low participation numbers in the last few years and played just six games this season with six defeats. Their last playoff appearance was in 2011 but give the Pioneers a lot of credit for competing with some challenging circumstances.

We have some sharp photos from James Yule from this HEM-TS game and they can be found in the gallery below. Take a look!
