PhotoFest: Mountain View Repeats as 3A Volleyball Champions

Mountain View has been on a sensational run in 3A volleyball with 4 straight appearances in the state championship match and now 3 state titles. The Buffs got by Powell on Saturday in Casper in 4 sets, 25-20, 17-25, 25-15, and 25-20 to take home the championship hardware. These two teams met in the 3A West Regional final in which Powell won in 5 sets. Mountain View rallied in the 4th set on Saturday with some timely and talented plays in the latter part of the set.

Mountain View wrapped up the year 32-7 and repeated as state champions and that's not easy to do. Powell had a terrific season at 27-7 and the Panthers did qualify for the 3A semi-finals in 2022.
