Photofest! Southeast Begins 9-Man Play Downing Riverside
The Cyclones of Southeast has been one of the more consistent football programs in the state and started out this season in 1A 9-man with a 29-6 home win over Riverside. Southeast has missed the playoffs only twice since 1997 and this season, they have a core of returning starters that will make them tough to beat. Ayden Diamond, Cole Sauer, Matthew Chapman, and Tiegan Thompson were all-conference selections a year and will make a major impact on both sides of the ball. The Cyclones went 6-3 a year and will host Wright on Friday afternoon.
Riverside went 4-4 last season and missed the playoffs but did qualify for the postseason the two previous seasons. They have a returning offensive star in Ty Strohschein and the Rebels will be on the this week at Wyoming Indian in Ethete.
We have a few pics to pass along from Friday's game in Yoder thanks to Jamie Tippetts and that can be found in our gallery below.
