PhotoFest! State Legion "A" Baseball Tournament

The American Legion "A" Tournament kicked off on Wednesday at Thorne-Rider Stadium in Gillette and for a while, it was hot. With temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s, it was warm to begin with, then add 10 degrees for the players, coaches and umpires on the turf field.

In the opening round on Wednesday. defending champion Cody beat Torrington 10-3, Douglas edged Green River 10-9, Casper over Lovell 2-1, and Powell beat Sheridan 7-1.
