PhotoFest: Torrington Absorbs Road Loss to Mitchell, Nebraska

Torrington's Week One football game was right down the road in Mitchell, Nebraska on Friday night and it was a bumpy road for the Blazers. Mitchell defeated Torrington 39-7 and this Tiger team beat Wheatland the week before.

Mitchell has a three-pronged running approach on offense with Cael Peters, Dez Smith, and Santi Castillo. Those three guys rang up 4 touchdowns and the Mitchell defense was just as feisty. Torrington reached the red zone just twice in the game with Bryce Hagar scoring the Blazer's lone touchdown late in the contest. Mitchell also recorded a safety in the game.
