PhotoFest: Riverside Takes Care of Ten Sleep in 6-Man Football
The Riverside football program has returned to the 1A 6-Man ranks for the first time since 2019. The Rebels played in 9-Man for the last 4 years and made the playoffs 3 times. So far, Riverside is 3-2 on the year and 3-0 in North Conference play following a 53-18 win over Ten Sleep over the weekend.
Riverside has been paced by Reese Whisenant who can do everything on the field. So far this season, he ran for 372 yards vs. Hulett and 232 vs. Kaycee. In terms of yardage, he is the leading rusher in 6-Man and also is an effective receiver. Whisenant also has been a stud on defense for the Rebels.
Riverside will have a challenge this week as they'll Midwest and the Oilers rang up 94 points last week against Hulett. Ten Sleep is 0-5 on the year with a couple of forfeits but give this group credit. The Pioneers go out and compete every time which is great to see. They have Hulett next up on their schedule.
James Yule has provided us with some fantastic photos of that TS-Riverside game and you can locate them in our gallery below. Enjoy!
