Three-time All-State cross country runner Shaunti Longfellow of Rock Springs will continue her running career at Iowa Central Community College.

Longfellow earned All-State honors her final three years for the Tigers. At the state cross country meet, she finished in seventh-place last fall as a senior. Before that, she was 10th as a junior and ninth as a sophomore.

Shaunti also competed in indoor and outdoor track and field at RSHS. Longfellow qualified and competed at both state championships for all four years of her prep career. She ran mid-distance and distance races, as well as on relays.

Longfellow was part of several top three relays during her career.

That included runner-up finishes in the 4x200 meter relay in 2019 and 2020, in the 1600 sprint medley relay in 2019, and the 4x400 meter relay in 2018, at the Wyoming State Indoor Track Championships.

She was part of the second-place 1600 sprint medley relay in 2019 and a runner-up in the 4x800 meter relay in 2018 at the Wyoming Outdoor State Track Championships.

Her best finish individually was fourth-place in the 800-meters as a junior in 2019. Shaunti also finished fifth in the 1600-meters as a sophomore in 2018.

Longfellow plans on studying dental hygiene and pursuing a goal of becoming a dental hygienist.
