Sheridan has dominated 4A football for the last four years with resounding State Championship runs. The Broncs have won a state record 43 consecutive games after a 21-0 win over Cheyenne East in the 4A title game on Saturday in Laramie. Sheridan did this with some timely plays on offense and a stout defensive effort from start to finish.

On offense, Breck Reed was the man with a pair of 80-yard touchdown catches. He has serious speed and usually outruns everybody on the field. Reed ended up with 4 catches for 183 yards and also had an interception on defense. The Sheridan running game pounded out 156 yards with Kelton Crow leading the way with 89.

Cheyenne East managed just 220 yards of offense in the contest and the T-Birds amassed 116 yards on 38 carries. The Bronc D-Line had a solid evening with a couple of sacks. Keegan Rager and Harvey Fryberger had 9 tackles each so when it came right down to it, Sheridan had the upper hand on the line of scrimmage.

We talked with Reed, Fryberger, and running back Garrett Way and yes, winning never gets old.
