In a battle of the #1 and #2 ranked football teams in 4A, Sheridan asserted themselves early and breezed to a 41-14 win over Campbell County on Friday night at Homer Scott Field.  The Sheridan passing game challenged the Campbell County secondary and the Broncs came out on top in that area with 4 touchdown passes on the night.

Sheridan quarterback Ty Gilbertson threw TD passes to Breck Reed and Karson Chase to give his team a 14-point lead in the opening quarter. Chase and Chance Morris also found the end zone in the first half giving Sheridan a 27-0 lead at the halftime intermission.

Campbell County quarterback Mason Drube, a University of Wyoming commit, was 25-44 for 253 yards but also threw three interceptions.  Sheridan had 466 yards of offense as the defending 4A champion Broncs will be the #1 seed heading into the post-season tournament. They'll conclude the regular season at Laramie on Friday.

The Camels are 7-1 and will host Cheyenne East on Friday. The winner of that game will be the #2 seed in the 4A playoffs and the loser will be the #3 seed.
