Sheridan’s Karson Chase Signs with LCCC for Soccer
Sheridan soccer player Karson Chase was a stalwart for the Bronc defense as the team went 16-2-2 and took 2nd place honors at the 4A State Tournament. Chase will continue his career on the pitch as he has signed with LCCC in Cheyenne.
Sheridan allowed just 13 goals this past season, with 12 shut-outs, so that's a result of great defense and great goal-keeping. He was named 4A All-State patrolling the back line, and he made a mark on offense with 4 goals and 8 assists on the season. In addition to all that, Chase has extensive experience with the Sheridan Storm club team.
Chase also played football for the 4A State Champion Broncs, and in 2024, he was an All-State selection as a defensive back with 32 tackles and 2 interceptions. On offense, Chase caught 21 balls for 227 yards and four touchdowns and was a force on special teams as well. He returned a pair of punts for TDs and a kickoff return for a score as well.
LCCC plays in the Region IX junior college ranks and went 8-5-2 last season.
