Sheridan is now just 2 wins away from setting the Wyoming state record for consecutive victories after a 28-0 decision over Thunder Basin on Friday in Gillette. The Broncs scored the only touchdown in the 1st half as Kelten Crow snuck into the end zone to give Sheridan a 7-0 lead.

In the 2nd half, Breck Reed caught a touchdown pass and quarterback Ty Gilbertson had a rushing score for Sheridan plus the special teams contributed as well. Karson Chase returned a punt for a score in the 2nd half, so Sheridan found a way to win, yet again. And a good portion of the credit should go to their defense and their D-line has size and agility.

The Sheridan running game was solid against a physical Thunder Basin defense but the Bolts have scored just 7 points in two games so far this season to drop to 0-2 in 4A play. They'll be on the road this week at Cheyenne East.

Sheridan at 2-0 will have a challenge this week, travelling to Casper to meet 2-0 Natrona.
